Question 1

What is the difference between ceramic, carbon ceramic, and standard tint?

Accepted Answer

Standard dyed tint offers basic privacy and aesthetic shading, but provides minimal heat defense and can turn purple over time. Carbon ceramic tint infuses carbon particles for a rich, non-fading matte black tone with substantial solar heat rejection. Ceramic tint utilizes micro nano-ceramic technology to block the highest levels of infrared heat without metallic interference.

Question 2

How long does a vehicle tint installation take?

Accepted Answer

Two front windows typically take about 1.5 hours. A full vehicle takes 3.5+ hours once we start, depending on where you are in line. First come, first served — call ahead and we'll make a time for you.

Question 3

How long should I wait before rolling my windows down?

Accepted Answer

We recommend waiting 3 to 5 full days before rolling down your windows. This ensures the mounting solution cures completely and the tint film bonds securely to the glass. In colder or humid weather, allowing a full 5 days is recommended for optimal curing.

Question 4

What are the heat rejection and UV protection benefits?

Accepted Answer

Ceramic film blocks cancer-causing UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays, shielding your skin and preventing your dashboard, console, and leather seats from cracking or fading. Ceramic also repels harsh infrared thermal radiation, dramatically lowering your cabin temperature and reducing air conditioning strain during hot summer drives.

Question 5

Will window tint interfere with my GPS, cell phone, or keyless entry?

Accepted Answer

Not at all. We install high-performance ceramic and non-metallic carbon films that are 100% signal-safe. Unlike older metallic films, ceramic will never degrade your 5G/LTE cell reception, satellite radio, radar detectors, or key fob range.
